Any foreign national who wants to live and work in Mexico legally must get the Temporary Resident Visa, issued to foreign nationals who wish to live in Mexico for longer than 180 days, and Work Permit. In addition to a Mexico Work Permit, the holder is allowed to live and work in Mexico legally for up to four years, which is known as a Mexico Work Visa.

If you want to move to Mexico as soon as possible and your salary level is more than $2000, then you can get a resident visa by presenting proof of monthly income to the embassy. This will allow you to obtain a temporary residence permit in this country.

If in the future you want to find a job in our Mexican branch, you will need to obtain a work permit in Mexico or change your visa to a working one.

  2. Complete the Mexico Visa Application Form. You can find the application form on the website of the Mexico embassy where you will apply or at the embassy itself.
  3. Collect the required documents. Add documents confirming 2000$ monthly of salary, passive income or dividends for the last 6 months.
  4. Submit the application and pay the visa fee. On the date of your appointment, you must submit the documents and application form at the Mexico embassy. You also have to pay a Mexico visa fee.
  5. Wait for the visa to be processed
  6. Pick up your passport. If the application is approved, the visa will be affixed to your passport.
  7. Travel to Mexico and exchange your Temporary Resident Visa into a Temporary Residence Card
